An extremely solid feeling racquet, the [K]obra Tour by Wilson is designed for the new generation of aggressive tournament players. A combination of power, spin and accuracy come into play with [K]ontrol technology. A rounded frame shaft and aerodynamically designed hoop help this racquet cut through the air more efficiently making swing speeds easy to generate. From the baseline the [K]obra Tour offers a tremendously solid feel with a generous sweetspot. There is plenty of stability offered, even on off-center hits. The 16/19 string pattern helps with both a lively feel as well as spin potential. Our TW playtest team found it easy to produce fast swings with the ability to hit balls deep into the court consistently. At net, the larger stringbed plus easy maneuverability makes volleying a snap. The feel is crisp for hitting solid volleys with excellent placement when hitting with depth. Once again, the weight and swingweight are assets on serve. It's easy to generate speed for hard flat serves, yet the open string pattern offers great spin and control when hitting slice or kick serves. The combination of power and control makes the [K]obra Tour an extremely versatile racquet and a solid choice for a variety of levels.
